The cosmos plant originates from Mexico. In Indonesia this plant is known as kenikir or king's side dish. Cosmos is a tropical plant and grows wild in nature. Cosmos or kenikir is a member/family of Asteraceae.

The scientific name for cosmos is Cosmos caudatus. The leaves of cosmos can be eaten (edible) as fresh vegetables or salad leaves, even being nicknamed the king of salad abroad. The shape of the cosmos plant is striped and has a pipe with a height that can reach 1 meter and the leaves have long stalks.

It is on the hump that the flowers are arranged. These nodules are many at the end of the stem of the plant. Cosmos flower habitat is in hot weather but not so humid. In Indonesia, this cosmos or kenikir plant is often found in Java, from the lowlands to the mountainous areas up to an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level.

How to Plant
● Open the package, put the seeds into the planting medium.
