Collezione: AGLONEMA Plants Collections | Rakayana Agrinusa
Aglaonema (Indonesian: Sri Rezeki) is a popular ornamental plant from the taro tribe or Araceae. The genus Aglaonema has about 30 species. They are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea. They are commonly known as Chinese evergreens.
The original habitat of this plant is under tropical rain forests, grows well in areas with low light intensity and high humidity. This plant has fibrous roots and stems that are not cambium (woody). The leaves are pinnate and have transport vessels in the form of xylem and phloem arranged randomly.
Now a wide variety of hybrid Aglaonema has been successfully developed with a very attractive plant appearance with a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes of leaves so that it is much different from the natural species.
