Colección: Heliconia Plants

Heliconia sp as we know, is a banana plant. The shape is similar to a banana tree with stems with fronds. But the size is mini.

At first, Heliconia sp was widely found in Latin America, such as Brazil, and in South Asia, as well as in several Pacific islands in the Caribbean.

Heliconia sp has many features, one of which is that it is easy to grow. Not spoiled either. That way Heliconia sp is easy to treat right? In addition, this plant grows in groups. It is usually thick and wide, so that it can cover a wall or iron fence in the background. Green leaves plus red-yellow or orange flowers look attractive.

In Indonesia alone, bananas or Heliconia sp became popular around 1997. There are several types that are popular here, namely, Heliconia bihai, Heliconia collisiana, Holiconia caribaea, Heliconia rostrata, and Holiconia wagneriana. Its life in groups makes Heliconia sp look beautiful when planted in large quantities.
